AR15 Single Shot upper reciever POSSIBILITIES??

Well, actually, anything is possible if you do enough work and spend enough money.

Is it worth it? No. Is it legal? That's debatable.

What next? If I take an SKS a torch and a hammer and make it take all the AK parts its still an SKS?

dpms makes a sigle shot lower and a rifle. they also make a 223 pump action ar15. There is no mag well in the rifle and it is a ratating bolt action single shot ar15. Tried dragging the link over but just goggle dpms.

I didn't mean a plastic AR15 lower, I meant making an AR15 upper work on an AR180B lower. I was trying to state that if you spend enough time and money you could make anthing work.

That's why I was saying it's debatable, as long as you don't change the receiver, it's an AR180B. How ever, the RCMP has already said that if it takes an AR15 upper, it's an AR15.

You could probably make one of those Olympic arms uppers with out a buffer tube work with out having to mod the AR180B receiver. Would that be legal?

It's a gray area, this debatable.

yes,i've seen this in a buyers guide,the lower has no magwell[will not accept magazines]it is a true single shot made for the california market.

Yep... and it is still called an AR15 hence the RCMP say it is restricted.
