If you were going to have a ziplock with backup parts, pins, springs, screw, etc for AR15 / Stag10 platform rifles what would you stockpile to keep your rifle running?

Spare trigger, lower parts kit, BCG, firing pin?

Yes.

The only thing that isn't compatible on the receiver is the take down pins, and barrel nut I assume, also the bcg and charging handle. I ended up buying a 308 dpms bolt catch/release though. I was told AR15 pattern ones will work, but aren't as strong??

I tore everything off my colt ar15 to build my stag10. Worked well

Consider 308 barrels Don’t last as long as 556 barrels. Also consider that if they go prohib, in all likelihood you won’t be able to shoot them as often. Definitely have at least one lpk. TNA and FOC both sell field repair kits. Extractors break. You likely don’t need a full bcg if you are tight on cash and could live with just an extra bolt for each.

For triggers, buy Geissele ssa or ssa-e triggers and the. MKe the originals your spares.

Ctcs sells a stag 10 proprietary parts kit.

Excellent. I have both full 6.5 and 308 uppers on one BCG, I’ll pick up an LPK and maybe a second rainier BCG. And the G trigger is on my list.

You should consider getting a a spare bolt for each upper you intend to shoot but you can live with a single carrier between the two. Up to you. I know a lot of people considering not complying are having to outlay a lot of cash on various things right now and short of unlimited funds it's worth thinking about how best to spread it around. I'd buy a G Trigger before getting a full BCG or another barrel fwiw. Don't forget ammo and at least 6 mags per caliber! If you have the cash, hell yeah get two of everything and tell these tyrants to go F themselves.

nothing really to with complying with anything, I just shoot long range at the longest mile and there isnt much for parts up there.

i have a trigger waiting and the 7 mags I have run both calibers. Basically just wondering about small parts and wear or stoppages that would take some fun out of a trip.
