Ar15 upper question - where can i find a 7.62x39 upper for my AR?

As to the gas tube it is stainless steel, just drop one two drops down the tube and don't even think about it, after all it is a 15 dollar part, I probably get bore with the upper before I'll need to replace it.

Don't get your hopes up, that AK lower is either a limited run or a prototype not for commercial sales. like many other companies KAC has gone to the 300BLK. since getting large quantity of 300BLK ammo is much easier in the US.

I know you love .300blk , I did too until I ran out of the cheap Remington .300blk ammo . Now .300blk sucks!

If cheap is your primary concern then an SKS would be the perfect gun for you. For me quiet is the primary interest and nothing does that better than 300 BLK.

Your subs will never be as quiet as mine........ Pfffffft I'm not looking for cheap more like reasonable and $30 for a box of 20 rds sure aint no fun at the range, it's all over to fast. For hunting sure but not much fun for a range plinking comando.

Here is by build. I got the upper a while ago, it's a DD with LotherWalther SS 16" barrel. DD brake. I am using it with Armalite lower with SSE Gueselle trigger. XCR 10 round mags. The weakest link is the bolt extractor. The original one broke after about 300 rounds of shooting Romanian surplus. I've ordered so-called Super Bolt for 7.62 and it works like a charm. Have over 1000 rounds trough it with no problem - Romanian, Russian, Norinco brass washed ammo. I don't have a recent targets pictures to post, but it's more than a descent accuracy.
