AR15 w/ no stock??

You can't top fold an AR stock, it at a minimum has to house the buffer assembly.

You can if you think outside the box. I built an under folding AR which turned out to be way cooler than I had expected. :D

It is possible to build a stockless AR and it has been done previously by the likes of ZM Weapons and a couple others. The prob is the bolt carrier must be shortened which negates the possibility of FA operation and requires some serious mods to the recoil system.

I didn't want to live with either of those limitations so I used a modified shortened buffer tube.

don't know how to explain. just take a single point sling, attach it on the rifle with no stock. Now instead of holding your rifle with no stock, you kinda push the rifle away till the sling becomes tight. better than nothing.

you get what i mean?

down south thats how most of my friends roll with AK pistols. like i said, its only better than nothing. push the gun away from your body, it will make you a "bit" more stable.

Howdy. I've been thinking a lot recently on how I'd put together an PDW AR15. I keep on landing on the stock choice. There's nothing out there that is as minimalist, except of course NEA's new contraption (that I don't want to invest in, no offense).
So I've been thinking of running an AR with no stock, with just the buffer tube hanging off the end. Anybody try this?

I don't quite understand your thing here, if you use a CAR stock it will end flush with the buffer tube (ie no extra length) so what's the point of running a bare buffer tube ????

Just like the orignal Navy Seals with Charlie Sheen they do it with the MP5 :)

Ok, yeah, yeah, I thought you were talking about a sling mount. My bad.
