Funny, when I was thinking of a left handed AR I kept hearing the same thing,,no need, AR's are basically ambi etc, and I agree, always shot them, never had a problem with a standard righty. Then I talked to a lefty that had an out of battery detonation, something I never considered, he was lucky and didn't loose his eyesight, but spent quite a while picking metal out of his face, and has some permanent scars,, not the best place for your face to be if you are a lefty. That conversation convinced me to buy a Stag lefty
