Ar18/ar180 to Ar18 ?

Anyone confirm it's it's a drop in or even if it will work ?

Can confirm.

AR180 upper drops right on a AR180B lower. You just have to use the AR180B guide rod. Not sure if the new aluminum offerings are compatible with the two stud locking like the original AR18/180.

Can't see why AR18 wouldn't also work.

yup done it too. What sucks is any AR18 barrel I have seen is under 18.5"

The Nodak lower works with the 180 upper and is available as receiver only.
