The AR180 is capable of better accuracy than the stock trigger can produce. I know it will use most AR15 triggers.
My question is: What should I do to improve the trigger? Does anyone work on the stock components, or is replacing it with an aftermarket trigger the best idea?
What is available for aftermarket triggers in Canada and what gets the thumbs up?

Are you asking about the AR180 or is it the AR180B? One is very evil and the other not as much.

I don't know how much work would have to go into the original trigger to improve it, but IMO, buying a 2 stage trigger was probably the best money I've spent on mine.

My trigger is a RRA national match 2 stage trigger, which I bought from Questar. The only thing about it is that you have to use the original trigger retaining pins from the AR180B, since the pins that came with the trigger were meant for an AR-15, and aren't long enough.

Ar180B trigger

You should consider an Armalite national match 2-stage trigger kit as I purchased from Wolverine and installed in mine when it was new as I endured the same problem. As the dollar is approaching on par it should be around $200 bucks and comes as a kit with new springs and pins included and cleans the crappy mil spec trigger up rather nicely.--Thanks--Dieseldog!
