I feel like I'm overlooking something super obvious here... But I cannot for the life of me figure out how to remove the trigger from my AR180B. My plan is to replace it with an AR trigger that I like better, and from everything I read it's interchangeable except for the pins.
In the photos you can see my issue: the bolt catch piece extends from the rear of the magwell all the way along the inside of the reciever, effectively making the width of the inside of the reciever skinnier by a few millimeters. The hammer and trigger lie underneath it, so this thin piece of metal makes the reciever too skinny to pull out the hammer. I hope you can understand what I mean by looking at the pictures.
All I want to do is take out the trigger and put a new one in. Is there some trick to this? I've replaced AR15 triggers numerous times before without issue.
Is there some way to remove the bolt catch? It's under extremely tight spring tension so I didn't want to mess with it.
Thanks in advance for any help.
