Looking for some info on the restricted version of the AR180B

Hoping someone that has or is familiar with the restricted version of the AR180B that can help.

What is the barrel length of the restricted model compared to the NR version?

Did it come with the same brake on it as the non-restricted version?

Basically trying to pin down the overall barrel length difference between the two.

Were there any other differences between the two?

Thanks!

I dug up this info from the CFC in regards to the AR-180B from some old courses I took a while back...

"two versions of this firearm exist, one with an integral muzzle attachment and one with a screw on/off muzzle attachment resulting in a RESTRICTED and a NON RESTRICTED version by barrel length of this firearm model"

-- Restricted Barrel length : 462mm / 18.18"
-- Non Restricted Barrel length : 567mm / 22"

Hope this helps :D...

It's too bad someone didn't put all this information in one handy place. Located at the top of this forum would be a good start.

Seriously dude?

If there was 36 pages of useful information there I would tend to agree, but..there isn't. I searched, what I needed didn't come up. So I asked.

If you really want to help, post the link to the page where the information was.

AR180B FAQ. All frequently asked questions and most of the collected information contained in the thread is posted on the first page in the very first post.

And since we already know you are too god damned lazy to look for it yourself, here is the relevant information:
Q: What is the classification of the AR180B?
A: Being that the AR180B is a new rifle it classification is based on barrel length. As it is a semi-auto center fire the barrel length must be over 18.5” for the rifle to be non-restricted. There are currently 2 version of the AR180B. The integral muzzle brake version which came out during the United States “Assault Weapons Ban” days is non-restricted. After the sunset of the Assault Weapons Ban, a version with a factory threaded barrel was introduced, this version is restricted due to barrel length.

The AR180B-2 is non-restricted, the AR180B is restricted. When Armalite introduced the threaded barrel version, they didn't give that one a new name, they re-named the old one. Armalite is run by idiots.
