I have owned an AR180B for a while now and have finally decided the terrible trigger has to go! I took it apart to see if it uses the same components as as AR15 trigger because I wanted to install the JP Enterprises trigger springs (work amazing on my other ARs!) Looks like it uses the same components but I was wondering if anyone could confirm?

Also, it is kind of embarassing, but I can't get it back together now! I've built countless ARs and worked on triggers but I can't find schematics for reassembly as the bolt catch seems to not want to go back into place.

Thanks for any help you can provide!

Yup, pretty sure it uses the same trigger group as an AR15.

If you go on the CTSS store website, they are selling a LPK and have a cool video on the sale page. Full assembly instructions for a stripped AR lower.

Thanks! No problem installing an AR15 trigger but on the 180 there is an extra bolt catch arm and spring that I can't figure out how to fit in with the standard bolt trigger components.

Put the bolt catch spring in the receiver with the 90 degree bend facing upwards (and towards the inside of the receiver, IIRC).

Take the milled indent of the bolt catch and insert it on top of the 90 degree bend.

Push down (and forward) and push in the bolt catch pin (or whatever the hell it's called).

I just ordered and installed a Armalite match 2 stage trigger set (small pin) from Wolverine about 10 years ago and it solved the issue and has worked great. At that time it cost almost $300 with taxes but a recent check showed them almost half that with the CDN dollar now.Hope this helps--Dieseldog!
