Ar500 lvl iv pre-order

think i got the last set. I'm psyched to get some plates, hopefully they actually fit in my 5.11 carrier. Just to confirm 2 things;
1. the total cost, with the sale price is $279 or whatever right? its not an initial downpayment or something
2. it's actually level iv? it says it's rated put to 7.62x51 but true iv is rated for .30-06 M2 AP ammo
thanks,
P

@p. Rundle
Ar500 who are rate NIJ IV arent even scratch by 556/7.62x39... The only weak on level 4 with those caliber is the coating... usually give up after 5-6 rounds ish. I think those can take a little more because of the ''heavy coating''... The plate will never be penetrate by 556/7.62x39 standard ammo, but wont catch the fragments of the bullets after few shots. So your vitals would always be safe, but your limbs could take some chips after few rounds of standard ammo. Armor piercing ammo is an other subject, but Im glad those plate can take a 3006 AP shot.

Anyway, as a wise man said : After the first shot take, get the * out and hide.
