Looking for a target and stand that can break down easy and I can fit on my quad rack. For out to 1000 yards. I've done the milk jugs, 2x4 with card board, disker plate on conveyor belt etc. Time for something that is easy and works. Suggestions?

Comes apart with no tools needed, easy to set up and takes up very little space, I've hung 12" 1/2" ar500 plates off this set up and shot them out past 1000 with up to 338 lapua with zero issues

Fraser Valley targets, their rebar brackets are awesome targets too that have a built in angle. Zero chance of anything coming back at you. They are a site sponsor too.

I should have mentioned I shoot year round and prefer the winter so pounding stuff into the frozen ground in -30 isn't for me. Appreciate the post though.

I run the X Metals AR 500 stand, sets up with no tools and easy to carry, very sturdy, they are also In Canada and a site sponsor.

Under $40 at home depot to build the stand. Shrugs off bullets too, straighten leg with a hammer after a hit.

Folding metal sawhorse from Can tire. That's what I use. They go on sale for $10-15 every few months. You have to brace it so it doesn't fall backwards when hit, I just find a big stick and tie it on with a piece of rope.

For long range shooting you want your target to be as low as possible with backstop directly behind target. The stands that hold the target feet above the ground are not all that useful. Shots that are low will show splashes that appear high. Unnecessary confusion.

Where we shoot we have to have some stands that are 6 feet tall to get above grass and bush etc...sometimes line of sight is tricky on uneven terrain and the option for height is valuable
