ARAK 21 in Canada?

I thought I read somewhere that they build a lot of military hardware(bomb stuff, and what not) and that small arms was a side project to keep their employees busy.

Baur arms is set up to be their distributor here in canada,though they only just received their import license last week....I talk to Gerry at Baur about getting one of these,and possibly the non restricted version of the complete rifle,but I was told that they aren't even close to having the design done on it.

From what I was told about it,the NR version will have a proprietary upper that won't work with any AR lower,and the lower will be the same,think along the lines of what ATRS did with the modern hunter...kinda a ar10....but changed enough it won't work with any ar10 parts.

i don't care for NR version - the 12.5 barrel version for 762 russian upper = i want

have any supporting dealers indicated they might be bringing the uppers in?

That's also what I'm after.give Gerry at Baur a call and bug him About it,last I heard the uppers are still going to be while before they are brought into the country.
