After discussing with another CGN member via PM, he mentionned these rings which have peaked my interest.
It is a concept i had not heard of before, hinged rings, 1 top screw, both base and ring torqued to 55 in/lbs.
For this build i am going for an old school look, while using modern components where i can, and am thinking these are the rings i want, if they are well received by users in general.
They will be holding an NXS 3-15x50, 30mm tube, medium height (1.10''), and should have about a 1/4 inch between flip cover and barrel.
Will also be clamped on an ATRS steel rail, should be a solid platform for seperate rings setup.
