ARCA rail bipod

I just started using the Area 419 rail, with a Harris bipod adapter. I'd like to try an Atlas bipod at some point.

The adaptor isn't hard to install if you decide to go with or have a Harris Bipod. If I remember correctly some models of Atlas bipod work right out of the box.

I'm a big fan of the RRS pic/arca adapters as well. I have the "screw-knob" types on my Harris' and the throw-lever ones on most of my Ckye-pods. It's nice to be able to use your bipods and all of your guns regardless of whether they have pic or arca/RRS dovetail.

1) Pick up your preferred Atlas or Harris bipod.

2) Then head over to B&H Photo and pick up the appropriate Really Right Stuff ARCA adapter. The ones that offer both Pic AND ARCA compatibility as mentioned above. They offer free shipping (all taxes paid at time of purchase) for $100+ orders.

If you're looking for an Atlas adapter, I have an extra one you could have at cost.

ARCA is the way to go, I have ARCA on the bottom of all my cameras, spotter, and chassis rifles.... easily swap anything out fast! hell, I'd put ARCA on the bottom of my beer while I was around a campfire

Agreed. Until the next cool attachment method comes along, ARCA is the be all and end all. Just like Mlok was. And Keymod was. And Pic was before that.

I think the difference here is that ARCA is big in the photo/video industry as well. It's been the higher end go-to there for decades.

Beat me to it.... "ARCA, I put that sh!t on everything"

Who would have predicted the shooting market would choose a photo/video industry standard rather than a military standard. It has to be one of the least predictable developments of the last decade.
