Archangel 556 owners - some help please!

I got a 556 on a trade with another member, but unfortunately it didn't come with the four screws that go into the scope base mount holes on the receiver.

Can someone please measure one of these screws? I understand they are 6-48, but just need the length. Thanks!

Mine is for a R 597. As far as I can remember, the scope mount screws came from the rifle.

I have a set of scope mount screws, but they are way too short. I'd like to hit it spot on if possible.

8.67mm bottom of head to end of bolt.

You can also try hical.ca They might have the exact fit screw you are looking. Or mcmastercarr.com but shipping might hit hard for buying the smallest package they have for the screw. A local hobby shop is also an option. But you might have to cut to length. When cutting, use a dremel cutting wheel so as not to distort the thread. Avoid grinding when possible.
