Archangel Marauder sights

I have really tried to accommodate the plastic sights on the stock, but I want to add a decent scope again (used to have a tapco stock). I have dry fitted a few scopes and I can get away with most, but the front sight has to go. Anyone here chop the front sight off?

I found this video where it appears they did the same.

I have "taken" the front site off, all you have to do is remove the pin on the side of the rail that holds in the sight and it just comes out. Btw, I also heard someone mention you cannot adjust the rear sight's windage and I can confirm this is not true, there is a slot on the right side of the sight that contains a hex bolt that adjusts the windage.
