Hi All,

Question in regards too Nomad kit importation.

Can you purchase in the USA and bring into Canada legally?

I cannot find in Canada all suppliers sold out with no ETA.

Yet many suppliers online through the USA have in stock, since it is essentially a stock I wonder if I can purchase in the USA either through driving across border or UPS?

Unfortunately, the answer is "no". ITAR has determined that such things are more or less weapons of mass destruction, and export of US military technology...as are screws to mount a scope on a .22LR, for example. It doesn't make sense, but there it is. In order to export one from the US, you'd need a US exporting license & a myriad of other hoops to jump through. Don't even think of trying to sneak one across.

I ordered one from Mystic Precision. Just because the website shows them out of stock doesn't mean Jerry doesn't have any, and he can get 'em pretty quick if he is sold out. They were out when I ordered mine, but it was still at my door in a week or two.

By the way, good choice on the Nomad kit! It is, in my opinion, a fantastic product. It's well built, just as solid as the actual HK (which I've handled). I haven't experienced a single FTF, FTE, etc. with mine, and have had zero problems with the Promag mags.
