Archangel rem 700 precision stock sneak peek!

the material used will accept bedding but that is because the action and stock form a sandwich. On the "surface", not ideal or at least long term durable. it will pull out.

there will need to be a material interface with the stock. An adaptor can be sized to fit part of the bipod hole and bolted to the stock. Then any type of rail can be mounted to that.

Alot of force goes through any bipod mounting spot and surface gluing will not last.

There is a thread about it in the main battle rifle section. I think the general concesus is that they probably won't work because they feed from the center and the feed ramps in the M14 are set for staggered feed. I think somebody needs to try it though.

The others are right, I have no intention of modifying the magazines to work. I was just curious if they would work. When you throw around words like "based off M-14" and "10 and 20 round mags" in the same couple sentences, it tends to pique interest with some folks.

On another note, I may have to put aside my hatred for Remington rifles and do a build with one of these stocks!

You should obviously buy from a dealer you like and trust...but when Dealer A starts a thread which brings an attractive new product to your attention, using that thread to tell Dealer B that you like the product and will buy it from him is, perhaps, not the height of tact.

Looks like you don't be able to pre-load the bipod because it folds forward, so you'd have to pull backward to pre-load. Is that the case?

Also, what is the construction material of the stock?

The bipod locks in position when open, so you can push forward to preload.

The stock is made from glass & carbon fiber filled nylon.
