Archangel rem 700 sneak peek!

Found this pic of a mag on Glocktalk.

It's definitely an M14 magazine, but it's been tapered down to feed into the rifle single file. Dunno if you'd be able to use it double duty in an M14 or not with that change.

I'd be very interested in learning the answer to that question. I hate how standard M14 mags chew the sh!t out of brass.

Since the mag chambers from the center there might be issues in an m14 chamber as it is designed to load form the left or right.

I can see the round hitting the part of the chamber that stick outs in the middle. What if anything that would do I don't know.

I don't see any reason the mag couldn't be modded to fit the m14? It shouldn't change the mag's legal status, seeing as modding an m14 mag to fit a bolt action still makes it, legally speaking, an m14 mag that has to be pinned. It's all what the mag was "designed" to fit, right?

Modifiny a magaxine does change the legal satus... modifing a gun doesn't.... If they advertise also takes m14 magazines then they screwed the pooch as it matters designed and manfactured for.

Yes you're right, bolt actions don't have restrictions to there mag capacity, that is if it uses a proprietary mag for that system, or mags not used in semi autos like the ai mags. I just want to confirm cuz in the description it says that it's based off the m14 mags which are pinned to 5.

only 1 type of bolt action has limits and thats a lee enfield rifle...
