Archangel rem 700 sneak peek!

Hmm.. is this going to turn into another armtac type .50 beowolf deal. Bring in one gun and 4000 mags and still sell out of mags in 12.2 seconds??? But seriously, I'm very interested in a 20 rd mag for my M14.

If the magazine has that little square hole in the front edge, and if it fits and functions in a M-14, dollars to donuts it will be ruled to be an M-14 magzine.
Particularly if the magazine was originally an M-14 magazine which was altered for the Archangel stock.

And discussing the thing here will surely result in the magazine being very carefully inspected and tested prior to importation being approved.

1. Can a Remington 700 SPS Tactical in .308 be placed onto this stock?
2. What kind of modifications were made to the M14 mag to fit into the Archangel Stock?
3. Additional mags come in 10 and 20 rounds at what cost?
4. If, in the end, the magazine is dual purpose with a M305, I AM SO ON-BOARD WITH THIS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :D

If you look at the video attached in the other thread, you will get a good look at a magazine.
It is purpose built; never was a M-14 magazine.
No little square hole.
Work in a M-14?
Who knows? I suspect it wouldn't.

Bingo, this mag is built for this rifle kit, no hole, single feed, different from the M14 mags completely!!

The AIA mags didn't have the square hole either but they work. Just need to figure out the single stack thing...

I'd be down for a mag if you can get extras.

Looks extremly simular to the JAE-700 stock from J Allen Enterprises. If the Archangel stocks are going for around $400 that under 1/2 of what the JAE's are going for which is awesome but something about the AA stocks just screams lawsuit to me... Could just be me though

Could always try dremeling a $75 Norinco barrel

Since the mag chambers from the center there might be issues in an m14 chamber as it is designed to load form the left or right.

I can see the round hitting the part of the chamber that stick outs in the middle. What if anything that would do I don't know.

only 1 type of bolt action has limits and thats a lee enfield rifle...
WTF are you talking about? there is no capacity limit on Lee Enfield mags. Go read the firearms act before spewing verbal diarrhea all over the internet.

Read the magazine capacity regulations very carefully. It is possible to make the interpretation that a Lee Enfield rifle is limited to 10 rounds. Whether or not that is the official interpretation, I don't know.

In my opinion, this stock is going to be a best seller. It has a number of features that make it attractive. And the projected price is very attractive as well.
