I picked up my stock at the PO today. Amazingly fast shipping and delivery. Hical and Canada Post did a fantastic job getting it to to me.

Here it is installed on my SKS-D. Along with a ventilated hand guard, also from Hical.

Sorry for the crappy picture, I'll take some more in better light.

I haven't installed the SKS-D mag-well yet because I need to figure out a way to anchor the front of it. Actually, the magazines seem to rock in fairly well without the mag-well after some minor filing.
It'll take a bit of work with a Dremel and some more filing to install the mag-well but nothing major.
 
So... $200 for a stock and it doesn't even come with the cross bolt found in the original SKS stock?

I'll pass.

Looks pretty though.
 
i was going to guess sport bike before the last photo based on the hindle, yoshi and other stickers.
guessing thats actually an older gixxer from the looks of it, not a yami? or is it a tl1000?

Yes..... My other passion! It is a 2007 GSXR1000 with 3,800km's. Was able to capture both my passions in one photo :)
The Red Dot/Laser is a Redfield CounterStrike, which is a division of Leupold.

3800km isnt even broken in
you need to get out of the city and ride north until you hit gravel, then slowly keep going...

LOL....Judging by your Owen Sound SKS poosts, I'm probably closer than you think (Port Elgin).... Not much for city life!

Be sure to post some pics of your SKS when completed.

Makes me want to pull out my credit card and jut get it over with. Best looking SKS stock ever.

Given that 99.9% of SKSs came with a bayonet the lack of an inlet on the underside of the stock is inexcusable and a deal breaker for me.

LOL..... Bit of both! I just can't half do anything, and when something is in my head, I have to see it to the finish!

They could very easily be modified to retain the bayonet, if thats what you desired. I chose not to incorperate it on this build, as it was not the look I was after, but it could be done.
