Archangel SKS stock question

I picked up an Archangel stock to put on one of my SKSes. I really like the stock but here is my question: is it possible to remove/replace the bolt/carrier/cover while the action is in the stock? The hump right behind the cover stops me from backing the cover enough to get it out from under the carrier side grooves. Do I need to pull the bolt back and lift it up (and hope the return spring doesn't slip out)?
 
No, not without modifying it. Simply remove the knock out block & remove the action, it only takes 15 seconds & you can give your gun a better cleaning....
 
Thanks for replying, I was hoping to avoid the complete strip every time i shoot, but it'll be worth it as this stock is the most balanced and comfortable aftermarket one that I've tested.
 
I have a brand new one for sale as well, still in its original packaging for the same price, minus the gst. See my EE thread...
