Recently purchased an archangel stock for my Norinco m305 shorty.
Had to file down in the usual spaces and trigger pads...very tight fit, have to push hard to close trigger group. There is no gap between the stock and receiver
Thing is now like maybe 9 out of ten rounds are light strike failure to fire. I have tried various ammo..MFS, Winchester, etc...its not the ammo
Also, it sometimes fails to eject and to pick up a new round from the mag...
Any help would be greatly appreciated...when it does shoot....its pretty accurate....lol
thanks

I'm no smith, but is it possible there is some binding in the trigger assembly giving you some light primer strikes? I found the fitment on the Archangel purposefully tight to 'accommodate' for all versions (M14, M1A, M305, etc.). Mine took some shaving down where the trigger assembly locks down and was snug(not NM snug... more couldn't bang it in with a 6 pack of coolers, a can of axle grease and a shoe horn snug) around the trigger mechanism itself. If one of the pins is a bit long it may be binding? I don't know how you assembled yours but mine benefited from some 'encouragement' in installing the trigger assembly in which I thought I damage it if I hammered it in any harder. And like the wife says... better too much lube than not enough;).

Thanks guys
I will give it a go today and see how it does. I am pleased with the stock right up until the gun doesn't fire...lol thats a pretty important part. So I guess it must be super tight and impeding the trigger some how. The only thing is ....if its tight and impeding the hammer or components...I wonder why some times it does fire?

Trigger pads need to be filed down a bit is my guess. If the trigger guard is a real bear to get down on the Archangel compared to your old stock, there's your answer.
