Howdy all,

First post here. I found canadaingunnutz.com because of a Youtube vidio demonstrating a 10-22 with an Archangle mod kit. I love the look of that kit. after searching the threads I was not able to find any info on canadain suppliers with this kit.

Are there issues shipping gun parts to Canada from the US suppliers?

I live 5 minutes from the boarder... are there issues bringing parts in across the line? I can ship to a US address and just bring the parts in myself.... however I am not to keen on having my new kit confiscated.

Any info would be helpful.

Thanks in advance.

As per the BATF and the U.S. Department of Commerce the Ruger 10/22 is not in the restricted list so you will not need a permit to import parts for them except for those parts that are universally restricted. (barrels for example) However, your imports are limited to replacement parts only and valued under $200.00.

So as long as you have the kit declared as a replacement part and it's valued under $200.00, you're good to go and have nothing to worry about.

It used to be $500.00, but they changed that recently.

Or, support your local gun store or the sponsors who pay big bucks to advertise here.

Gun parts can only be exported by a licenced US exporter.
Specifically controlled gun parts can only be exported by a licenced US exporter who has obtained an export permit for that specific item.
You cannot obtain a US export licence.
If you have gun parts shipped to your US accomodation address, and bring them back yourself, you are violating US federal law, regardless of the value of the items.
CBSA will be pleased to collect the taxes, but this has nothing to do with US export.

Awesome. Thanks Rugerman. Would rather buy Canadian. Looks like I will be in contact with Mystic Precision (I assume it is a Canadian vendor).

Thanks for the info on import/export.

I have an archangel kit on order with him currently, I ordered it on Nov 6, and as of my last email to him Dec 1 the kits are still on back order

Yep, I can offer the archangel kit.

Those that ordered earlier WILL HAVE a nice Christmas surprise.

Inventory just came in and are on their way. Should get them in a week or so.

Not sure if there will be any extras though.

If you check on my website, you can get pricing on these stocks and a bunch of other stuff for the 10/22 and Rem 597.
