Archery Lighted Nocks

Has anyone tried these smart tracer lighted nocks? I am hunting it seems mostly archery these days and thought why haven't I tried these. I guess they add alot of weight to the arrows (30 gr). I read that they make your arrow drop 3 inches at 20 yards. Seems like alot but still would be nice to have.
 
my cousin tanked a big black bear last week using them. It was at last light, he said it worked (and looked) awsome. Everyone i've talked with say they work great but you have to tune you bow for them. I think you can get practice ones.

I have some but my arrows sure don't like them. They look cool and I do see a lot aof advantages. I just haven't gotten around to tuning for them.

They had negligible impact on my bow @ 20 - 30 yards. Might be an issue if you shot light broad heads in a light arrow and it messed up your F.O.C.

I guess this is my greatest concern, I like the fact that I use a smaller epic arrow and a 85 gr broadhead. My F.O.C. will forsure be messed up. If they add a bunch of weight I will probably have to shoot at the least 100 gr and there goes my speed. I guess you just need to weigh the advantages and disadvantages.

Lumenoks only add between 12 and 18 grains.

Check your FOC and see.
Even if you need to go up to 100 grain heads net loss is only about 5 fps.

a six grain change in arrow weight will equal about one foot per second of arrow speed.
 
yep there great and you can get them for crossbows too what price are they going for in the store as my buddy is a dealer for them
 
isn't the point of archery to have yourhunting become simpler and more traditional? to do away with a lot of "modern" technology and assistance?

Yes, hence the radical cams, 80% let-off, carbon fibre arrows, over-draw, fiber-optic sights and release aids;):D
