Archery Mule Deer (Guess the score - we have a WINNER!)

I am not going to indicate whether anyone is close or not, but I notice some people have the same guess in whole inches - no one is using 1/8" increments. Now the score may be some 1/8ths, or 0/8ths, I am not saying which.

I guess if two people are equal distance from one score, then I will have to choose the person who's other score is closest.

This is kind of fun.

Sorry folks, I have been unavailable for a few days. My wife's old dog is almost 16 and we are going to have him put down on Monday. It has been a rough couple of days for the old guy.

We have a winner!

The buck scored 166 6/8 net, and 183 4/8 gross.

Scott_r was within 1/8th with his 166 5/8th net guess. Good work.

Demonical was within 2/8th's with his 167 0/8th net guess.

Hunt365 was within 4/8th's with his 184 gross guess.

So Scott_r wins a couple of days hunting pheasants in southern AB (besides, he likes my dog) whenever we can make it work. Congratulations.

As for Demonical and Hunt365, you guys are also welcome to come hunting if you are ever down this way. I am always up for a day in the field.

They are usually somewhat smaller then those bears you keep seeing the tracks of. They also almost always fly straight away from you, presenting a nice easy shot. Unfortunately, that easy shot is often missed, in fact I missed it twice today (well 4 shots really).
 
4 times today. At least you are getting out Ian.....I really must try that bird hunting with you. BTW....nice shirt in the photos.
