Broken nose on the sear. Anyone know of a source here in Canada? I have checked the sources in the U.S., it is an option but pricey. Traditions part #70504 is a likely close fit.
It could be repaired with a piece of hard steel (from hacksaw blade, etc.) silver brazed in place to replace the missing tip.
Or a new sear could be made, if necessary.
