Hello, new I am new to firearms and have shot a decent variety of pistols, rifles, shotguns and such, but have yet to fire a .22. As I am just getting into firearms, a .22 seems like it would be an inexpensive way to shoot, but I was wondering, is it really worth it? I have had a lot of fun shooting larger caliber rifles(shot a .50 a few times
) and primarily want to get into firearms for shotgun sports(trap, skeet, etc) and I am unsure if a .22 will do anything for me.
if the fun of a .22 is just putting holes in paper I have other hobbies that already do that for me.
