With all the talk about springfield not selling parts for there xd models that makes me think what if some thing breaks in mine and it has to be sent away for repair how long before it comes back and the hassle.As much as i like my xd iv,e given some thought on giving up on it and buying a glock.I can get all the parts for it including a lighter trigger kit and a .22 conversion kit too. What,s everyone else doing?

They are not selling the parts, but they are honouring the warranty. If something breaks they will ship a replacement part to you or your dealer.
 
I have had mine for almost 2 years now, don't know how many thousands of rounds have been put through it...works like a charm. I have put in a heavier spring and sanded down the 'cocked indicator' that pokes out of the back so it is flush when cocked.

Great piece, shoots like a dream.

Oh...btw... I am not overly concerned. Springfield likes their good reputation and will work to keep it I think.
 
Lifetime warranty. Support in Canada is supposed to be established. Contact Springfield for the store in Canada.

Their service for a rear sight replacement was prompt, and pleasant.

I see no issue anytime soon.
