My son's Tbolt will shoot twoonie size groups at 100 with RWS target ammo ( he is 13 ) . He saved up for this rifle with a little help from dad and put a Redfield 2-7 on it. I had a Czech 452 hmr that was just as accurate and both have great fit and finish no questions about it. Yes a 300$ Savage can be just as accurate but there is a difference. My boy gets it and I get it.
Not nocking anybody for shooting what they shoot but after downsizing from 30 guns down to about half my son and I focus on what we like.
On a related note the first rifle I bought him was a 300$ Remington model 5 ( made in Serbia) I think. We recently put a vortex 1.5 -5 on it and it shoots almost as good as the Tbolt. Almost.
