Are Imperial Defence M4 Carbines any good?

I have to agree with Rutgers on this.
I have a 14.5 inch version, sure there are difference between it and any of my other eight ARs.

The chroming is a bonus.
Accuracy is comparable.
At the time bought, the price was competitve with anything else AR.

As for the safety, if it makes me pay greater attention to it, then that is probably a good thing. I started on the FN and moving on to a C7, I was shocked when I found the safety did not operate at all times. If you are looking for a better safety selector go Swiss.

Finnish may not be the best at times, but I've seen when other manufacturers had hard times too.

End result, it works. Just like my Stag, RRA, Saber et cetera,,,.

I've had a look at the ID AR, and seen it on the range (I don't own one though) seemed just fine, the guy that owned the ID that I handled had no issues in 1,000 rounds. Seemed fine to me. That said the market has improved since then with regards to availability, so it may pay to look around.

I own a RRA and had a chance play with an ID at the range. First obervations were that the collapsable stock rattled on the ID and there was play between the upper and lower. While this play is not unusual in an AR I would expect a $1300 gun to be tight when that new. It did shoot reliably and was accurate. The finish on the RRA is a bit nicer IMO.

I vote RRA.
