Are Magpul & Fab Defense interchangeable???

Specifically ........ I have a CZ858 tac2 with a Fab Defense recoil reducing buffer tube mounted. Not that there's that much recoil with a 7.62x39 but that's what I wound up with off the EE. Will a Magpul butt (Magpul PRS Precision Adjustable Stock MAG308) fit the Fab Defense buffer tube??? I have a Fab Defense butt on it right now but I really like the Magpul adjusting LOP & cheek riser!
Anyone with experience with this?? I'd spend the money if I knew it would fit!

Well im going to take a guess here.. But usually on a buffer tube there are 2 different styles. Commercial spec and mil spec sized tubes. If your fab defence buffer tube is the same size as the Magpul butt you order then it should mount up no problem. Best thing i would say is call the dealer or who ever you want to get the Magpul from. Then call Fab defence and figure out what spec size the tube and butt stock are and then give her a go!

Next time post red rifle questions in the red rifle forum and there would be a fulry of response. As for the Magpul butstock that will work on your FAB recoil adjusting stock is comerical.

gents......... thanks, at least that's a start & I know it is possible. I agree........ red rifles might have been better! Thanks! I'll continue to research this there, once moved!

So that begs the question ......... what are the two buffer tube diameters? Maybe I need to chat with a retailer for magpul. Any recommendations?

OK but I want to be able to retain my Fab Defense recoil reducing buffer tube since it has the proper adapter to attach to the CZ858. I'd like to get the Magpul PRS Precision Adjustable Stock MAG308 butt and use that. I guess I'll have to measure the dimensions of the FD buffer tube and then see if someone can tell me if it will fit a MAG308 butt.

Are there standard diameter dimesions for commercial, mi lspec, air soft tubes??
