i have a bunch of cases that are 2.000-2.003 inches, should i just throw them out? the brass is still in good condition just too short

when measuring some once fired brass i found some 1.995''
(factory winchester loads if you wanna know)

Just shoot them. They are just like pups, before you know it, they will have grown to size.

Two to 5 thou under 'trim-to' of 2.005" isn't enough to worry about. Trim 'em all to the same length and adjust your seating plug though.

Most of my brass is 2.000 to 2.010. I would not have a problem loading cases even a bit shorter then that. You might start encountering problems if you're loading bullets out to the comencement of rifling, and leaving only a little bit of the bullet grip to sit inside the case mouth. As long as the case mouth holds the bullet firmly, you should have no problems.
