Are our numbers increassing recently?

I am fairly new around here but I have noticed a rather large number of poster that I don't recognize my guess is that it is either people that have recently joined after me or people that joined a while back, and have now become active.
Maybe one of the mods can comment on this. But Is the Gunnutz community growing faster now?
This is a good thing if it is true, and my guess is that a lot of it is the result of people wanting to be proactive in protecting our rights. In light of the Leftwing BS. / Miller stuff.
Just recently did my safety course for RPAL and the instructor said that the number of people taking the course have been increasing steadily.

Thoughts anyone?

I believe public perception is slowly coming around. Once a year I help instruct a group of women on firearm use and safety for rifle and trap. The program seems to be growing larger every year. As a special surprise, myself and a couple of other instructers bring along a couple of handguns. When we ask the girls if they'd like to try firing a handgun, their faces light up and there eyes open up like dinner plates They all enter the course thinking firearms are taboo, but leave with a whole new appreciation for the sport. And some girls even ask to join the club Women are a very powerful lobby, if we can project firearm use in a positive light with women, then it's all downhill for our cause, the Wendy Cukier's of the world don't have a prayer!
