Just got a prohib itch. know someone who has 12(6) just curious about value versus a post 1946 prohib.
What are some neat pre-46 pistols?
anyone have one they would like to show?

they can at least be grandfathered so yes, that make them worth more, everything else being equal.

FN-1910s FN-1900s FN-1922s etc.
Feg 37M looks pretty cool as does the CZ 24, CZ 22, CZ 27s etc. (the Czechs seem to always make nice things)

Just making sure you are aware you need a 12.6 licence to acquire these (unless your being passed them down through a family member).

I have a few... Added to it since the photo:

The Radom, High Power and P38 obviously aren't 12.6...

Yes, you need access to 12.6. My father-in-law can acquire and pass them on to my wife as 12.7. Eventually they get to me!

Based on what you suggest, you could look at the Walther TPH, Browning 1906, Browning 1910/1922, Beretta 1934/1935.

The older walthers (pp/ppk) and berettas (eg. M1935) would be very nice, as would be the Browning 1910.
