Are RC Mauser`s Counter Bored?

I saw two counterbored at Fishing World, the other 4 were not.
Going tomorrow to buy another! I was originally going to buy one of the counterobored rifles as it still had unpeened waffenampts, and the stock was a blonde variation, but I worried about shootability... now I don't care... they are so interesting, that even it if shoots minute of barn door, I have others that will fill that need.

I saw one that was counterbored at the Lumby show this spring. It was bored about an inch down inside the muzzle.
I've never seen another. This rifle was priced cheap, and sold quickly to a fellow that bought it for the action.
Of the several Mosins I have, the rifle that shoots the best is a M38 that has been counterbored. Kicks like a mule and is unpleasant as hell to shoot but it shoots where you point it every time, as long as I do my part. I don't shoot it much, my aging eyes can't see the front sights clearly anymore. That may be a blessing in disguise.
