Are rifled barrels worth it?

Which province sells small game liscence for 125$+? Damn thats pretty crazy. I want to know so i know not to ask

I'm pretty sure Quebec was pricing thier small game licence for non-residents at $100 bucks, even back in the late 1980s. I inquired about this when I lived in Petawawa. Renfrew County was very often, jammed chalk full with hunters & fishermen, while long term residents said that merely across the Ottawa River this kind of congestion was non-existant & game was plentiful. But I decided not to do so, because thier hunting regulations were printed only in one language.

I cast my own slugs with a Lee key drive 1oz slug mold, fired through a Mossberg smooth bore.
The smooth sided slug rides through the barrel inside the wad,after exiting the wad holds back while the slug takes off.
The accuracy is pretty darn good, i can get 3" groups @ 100yds with iron sights and they are very inexpensive compared to factory loads.

I have the Lyman Sabot slug mould. The one that looks like an overgrown air pellet.

Yes i have seen youtube vids on the Lyman , very nice looking projectile.

Go with the rifled barrel and a good quality sabot slug and you won't regret it.
