Are SKS stripper clips rare in the US?

I posted that I got an SKS on an American gun forum. People were surprised that I had access to milsurp corrosive ammo for it. Then I was told I should stop up on stripper clips...
A quick google search shows they are being sold in packs for 20 for like, 8 dollars.

Meanwhile we're throwing them away up here.

Would it be legal to send them down South, as a nice gesture to their gun community?

You could ask the BATFE about it, but I can't see how stripper clips (call them "chargers" and the gov't might not know what they are ) could be illegal to export to the US. They're just small pieces of metal after all.

Don't see how it would be a problem, but then again you know how the border is. Worst case scenario you can always call and ask.

SKS stripper clips arent that rare in the US , they have lots of chinese made ones avail but at a price . the rare ones are the czech stripper clips .

eventually the strippers clips here will dry up , it started already , some czech ammo doesnt come with clips .

Which is why I don't throw mine away (anymore ).

I started keeping them after learning on CGN that some surplus ammo doesn't come on stripper clips.

and to think I tossed a 5 gallon pail of them into the metal recycle bin. Hmmm... lets see; 2 per box. fifty some boxes per case, 35 cases per pallet and.... ooops, never mind.

I've sent boxes of them south before, its not a problem. I also sold a couple of my Chines SKS bandoliers. Won't be doing either of those silly things again!

What does US export law say about exporting Garand pingers?
I have a crapload of Czech strippers that I would love to turn into pingers, if it is legal to swap with a yank.

Sold all mine for a buck a pop including shipping, all to candians that bought the crates without the stripper clips

I started collecting them last fall when I bought Norinco surplus.

Still have a 1200 box of the Czech stuff with strippers.

Didn't know I'm sitting on a gold mine.

Allot of surplus ammo boxes in this time frame are not packed on stripper clips.Save them.
