Are stores starting to pull the SKS?

Lever has had that restriction in place for a long time for SKS and a few other items. Not related to current events.

I’m certain it’s because people are expecting a mint surplus rifle then they receive a run of the mill surplus rifle and complain about it.

Many of the recent Soviet imports have been sourced from Ukraine. So this whole thing is just a lot of BS.

Maybe by calling them Soviet (with is more correct anyway) we can avoid some of the pop culture hate that is currently out there.

Depends on which factory made them.

Most of the SKS rifles that were stored in Ukraine were severely damaged or destroyed when the salt mines they were stored in were blown up a few years back.

Not only that, just because they came out of Ukrainian storage, doesn't mean they were made in the Ukraine.

Most of those rifles are not only FTRed mixmasters they are mixmasters in their origin.
