Are the Zastava M70 Stainless bolts one piece?

Here's my 308. It's a 1 piece bolt. Real nice rifles. :)

I have a stainless in 7x64.... quite a decent shooter. No shortage of brass/dies etc.
Also have a blued/walnut 7x57 that hasn't been shot since getting the 7x64.

Only rifles I shoot above .224 and below .375 are 7x57s. Life got easier when I standardized, it’s still ongoing but the only ones getting fielded are 7x57s / .275 Rigby’s. I just absolved myself of the last 7mm Mag as a gift to a good client, it’s great but still reached for the .275s. Might as well stick with it.

Are the bolts on these rifles made of stainless steel? Or are they like some manufactures where the bolts are CM with the rest of the barrelled action being SS?

They are one piece and stainless steel. Be aware though Ardent that they are not the nicest finished bolts. They are pretty rough looking with visible machine marks and such but of course could be cleaned up with some work. If you're looking for a reliable working type rifle for cheap these can't be beat in my opinion.

My only dislike is the safety. I wish they had a 3 position. I should have bought one of the stainless conversions being sold years ago but the rifle was still on order and I wanted it in hand first. Now they're discontinued. Might just have to get a regular steel one and have it coated.
