What is a $1000 mount going to do that a $500 mount won't? Aside from taking twice as much money from your wallet??

What is a $500 mount gonna do that a $250 one won't ? The optic is still gonna $**t the bed if that's what hits the ground first. Most of the high dollar mounts are not worth the coin.
