I own a pre 64 Win model 100 in 308 Win that I love.
Has a 5### serial # so it was made in early 1961.
I’ve owned several 100s but this one is the best.
Wasn’t shot much by the previous owner and was well cared for so other than a little flaking of the factory finish the fit, finish, bluing, wood, metal are pristine ... it’s a pretty gun to look at as well as a shooter.
It is very accurate < 1.5” 5-shot group @ 100 yds off a rest with a Leupold Ultralight 2-7x28 for a species of gun that is not noted for its accuracy.
