Are there any m1911 conversion kits that work well?

I have a government m1911 that doesn’t get used much and am starting to get into the rimfire challenge sport.

Are there any conversions out there that are reliable? Can you gets mags for them?

I've got a Kimber conv. kit. Mags are available and they're reliable enough for a .22 LR.

I'm happy with my Kimber conversion as well. Very reliable with Mini-Mags and similar. I think the GSG 22 mags will fit also.

+1 ..... and also functions 100% with the GSG1911 mags, too.

Ditto for a vintage Ceiner .22 conversion kit I also have.

Kimber kit is probably easier to come by than either an original Colt kit or the even rarer Ceiner kits, too.
