Except that the first reply, your's, was nothing but complete and utter bull crap.

Better to keep your mouth shut and be thought a fool, than to open it and make it a fact.
 
I probably would not be so touchy to stupid questions, but as of late the new guys seem to be coming out of the wood work. The questions seem so far out & unintelligible that I would suggest that if the original question was genuine, that the poster look at a firearm course or proper training before venturing any further into firearms ownership.

For Chr!st sake a little interweb search could have answered the question for him/ her...

I suspect a lot of new gun articles in this country have found the answers they were looking for right here. Some people new to here at least introduce themselves to the forms.

Again I apologize to the original poster if his/ her question was sincere, but a little further research could save you ton of reticule... If you are of the type I suspect, have fun dodging insults.
 
I prefer to be very helpfull even to odd new guy questions.

But I still have to throw in a light poking for fun though :D

Come on people. We were all new at one time.

Hell I'm still borderline retarded on 90% of all firearm related subjects.

You don't want an AR-14. Stick with the AR-13, which comes standard with a grenade launcher. Plus the selector rotates a full 720 degrees, allowing you to go from safe, semi, auto, full super crazy auto, ludicrous speed/auto, and then a classified mode which shoots the grenade launcher repeatedly while firing 3 round bursts. Cooey made a gun very similar to the AR14.5, it is the model 39 and very sought after in today's market. It is to my knowledge still unrestricted but act fast.Someone ( I think it might have been a cop even) said it is making it's way to the restricted list pretty soon .The good news is there are hundreds of thousands of them here in canada you just have to talk an owner into giving up their pride and joy. I think if you were offering close to the price of an AR 15 someone might be interested in a trade .
