are there any online resources that talk about the different lever actions?

it looks like there's a good dozen lever actions starting from the 60's going up all the way to the '94 (from the 1800's). I'm curious to know the differences and what the pros / cons between them are.

Hickok45 on youtube has a video covering a good amount maybe all of the lever guns from winchester. Not sure myself on all the different levers but I found it an interesting video.

The video is just titled Winchester leverguns.

Very complicated question with multiple answers

Levers
Magazine and tube fed

Mag fed / side loading gate / tube loading gate .... Henry now has a side loading gate with tube loading gate

Side eject / top eject / angled eject

rimfire -Rimless center fire - and Rimed center fire

Pistol cals
med Cals
Magnum Cals or the big boys
long action cals / short action cals

so the browing BLR is a mag fed
henry has a bunch of options
Savage had a bunch of options ..... No longer made
Winchester 92/ 94 all side loading / tube fed .... pistol . rimed . rimless etc
Winchester 88 mag fed
Marlin all side loading / tube fed .... pistol . rimed . rimless etc
and a few others

and some others that are copies

and it depends on what cal you are interested in

Check out the Youtube channel USOG. Found him recently. He seems to be a gunsmith who has a sizeable collection, and compares and shows quite a few guns. His videos sometimes drag a little for me, but he's fairly knowledgeable and goes into a bit of detail. Likely he'll have what you're looking for, as I've seen a couple of his videos where he'll detail how they lock up, features and what he likes about them.
