Are there any replacement stocks availiable for the Savage .17's ?

Just wondering if there are any aftermarket stocks for the Savage .17's. I handled a Savage witha thumbhole stock, and really liked it - but I don't know where I could find one for mine.

they are not drop in, however. You have to make up a floorplate. If you just want the functionality, 2 screws work just fine

Unless someone is wanting to sell you one, off of the newer savages (with accu-trigger and thumbhole stock), there are not many options for the savages. As carbonrod stated, Richards makes one but from what i hear, a lot of work is required (10-12 hours probably). After many hours of work, they can look apparently not bad but unless you are prepared for many hours of woodworking on the stock, I would stay away from the Richards stocks
