The Benelli MR1 is basically a Beretta CX4 which was banned a couple year ago. The R1 is a totally different rifle. I have both. Unfortunately, there is a 10 round .308 mag that is available in the US. So this may mean the R1 is banned as well.

Not everyone in the east is a " welfare wannabee". You can stuff that regional bias right up your poop shute. Urban airhead voters are the problem and will continue to be one. Gun owners need to staand together whereever they live in Canada. Nobody with a pulse and a few brainwaves can support Mr. Dressup and his band of clowns. So stop with the east coast bashing. I didn't say everyone in the east, just enough to re-elect his royal dikness, the welfare wannabes are his people, you know the type, 2 degrees and a job at Starbucks - if you aren't one, that's great - but you're surrounded by them. Other than the Garand M1. That one has been prohibited by name.
