i am just wondering if the winchester power max 30-30 ammo is safe to use in a lever action tube magazine. the end is flat but it is a little more pointed than the regular soft points.

The overwhelming majority of 30-30 rifles have tubular mags. I would be amazed if they sold 30-30 ammo that posed an increased risk, especially if the package is not so labelled.
If the box doesn't have a warning on it about using it in tubular mags, you're probably safe.
