Wanted to buy some Nosler Partition at Wholesalesports. They charge $53 for a 50-bullet box of 180gr 308. Does anyboby know a place with more reasonable prices?

Read my post more carefully please before disagreeing. I said Cabelas.ca. You can't order them from cabelas.com. They won't ship you bullets to Canada.

Me too, I invite you to read my post a little bit more attentively. I asked for a place where these bullets could be bought at a human price. You suggested another one with nearly the same unhuman price, arguing that the bullets were expensive by their nature. I just presented a couple of examples to show that the bullets in question were NOT expensive by their nature. I know very well - as we all do - what I can and what I cannot buy at cabelas.com. Do you still follow me? So, your post had nothing to do with my question. I remind you that you are not obliged to answer if you have nothing to say. Feel free to keep silence.

If you're going to be like acting that you don't deserve anyone's help here. You won't find those bullets much cheaper anywhere else in CANADA. They mark up the prices here a lot because they are restricted items shipped from the States.

 why all the drama?

I learned a long time ago, if you have to worry about the small costs of your hobby.........get a new hobby!! You couldn't imagine what we pay up here for things like powder, primers and bullets. I bought a box yesterday of 35 cal 250 Parts for the meager cost of...............$84.00 with tax and we only have GST. Powder runs 35-40 bucks a pound, primers are 5 bucks a 100.
I've found unless I have a large order I can't do any better at WSS as the postage drives the price up so high I might just as well buy it here.
Welcome to my world.........I don't care, I still shoot 1000s or rounds of CF a year. What else would we do with our money, probably drink too much and get in trouble. Bullets are cheaper, trust me!!!

I always chuckle when someone "gripes" about the cost of premium bullets.
They are one of the least costly parts of a hunting excursion.
You want quality, you pay the price.
Have you bought any ammo recently that is loaded with a premium bullet?
That will put your $1.00/bullet in perspective. [as will $1.30/liter gasoline]
I send quite a few Partitions through paper, but usually one gets the job done in the field.
Great bullets at twice the price!! [also TTSX, A-Frames, etc, etc, etc]
Regards, Eagleye.

I have to agree. While I also balk at $1 per bullet (I am a cheap bastard like OP ;)), the reality is that I spend more in fuel to get to the range for load development than ever gets spent on any hunting ammo.

OP clearly hasn't shopped in Canada much if he thinks Partitions are stupid expensive, all the premium bullets are $1+ each.

About the same prices from stores around southern Sask.

So you all think it is normal to pay the double of the price the americans pay for the same item? Especially for the canadian-made powder?
And please don't explain me how it should cost - I'm in reloading for ten years at least, and - yes - in Canada, where else...

We pay more up here for darn near everything you buy. If you dont like it dont buy it. Thats your options. No need to come on the internet and piss and moan about what everyone already knows.
